Paula Hahn-Weinheimer
Paula Hahn-Weinheimer (March 8, 1917 in Nuremberg – 2002 in Munich) was a German geochemist and mineralogist.
Hahn-Weinheimer studied chemical engineering in Nuremberg and worked during World War II in various companies as a chemical technician. She graduated in 1943 in Frankfurt with a PhD from. Hahn-Weinheimer then worked at the Mineralogical Institute of the Frankfurt University. After the death of her husband, whom she had married in 1942, during an air raid, she was a single mother constantly working.〔Margot Fuchs: ''How the fathers, the daughters''. After the war, she qualified in 1958 in the field of geochemistry. 1964, Paula Hahn-Weinheimer as director of the Research Centre geochemistry at the University of Munich. A professor she received only 1970. This was the first full professor at the Technical University of Munich, first extraordinary was Liesel Beckmann been in 1946.
